- Biography
- I'm an energetic hard-working crew member with offshore sailing experience working in Deck and Engineering towards earning my Master’s license. A US citizen with US passport and US Merchant Mariner Credentials.
Any opportunities underway, deliveries, passages, permanent, etc., are sought.
My skills include mechanical, electronic, electrical, IT, HVAC, hydraulic, AV, medical, plumbing, and more. Familiar with most hand, power, and test equipment in these skills. I'm very good at anticipating, diagnosing, analyzing, and solving problems, and a quick-learner. You may not have a 165 MW Nuclear Powered Propulsion plant aboard but my training in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program will benefit any employer.
Additionally I possess a US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) endorsed as Professional Nurse, Radio Officer, Junior Assistant Purser, Steward's Department (F.H.), ordinary seaman, wiper, and a USCG medical fitness certificate (STCW and MLC compliant). I’m currently enrolled in a USCG-approved random drug testing program.
Also possess US-issued (FCC) licenses as GMDSS maintainer/operator + RADAR, General Radiotelephone Operator License + RADAR, and an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator.
I am a critical care registered nurse (emergency department, intensive care unit, and hospital administrator) and an AHA CPR/AED/First Aid instructor (STCW approved), and have US Navy firefighting and personal survival, and firefighting training with a government fire department. I am willing to obtain formal training as necessary to satisfy an offer accepted.
Hope to hear from you!
