Remember, the old search allowed you to tick all the things you wanted to search for, and then run the search. Now, each time you tick an item, the search page runs the search and reloads. This is called an incremental search, and the only purpose it serves here is to make the page, and the ads, load again, over and over.

Greed...
This is known as AJAX search and uses javascript to update the results, it's generally considered to be superior for user experience and it's what all the other big search websites use.

I've noticed when searching recently that the filters just don't work at all anymore. Searching for a boat 50-60 feet returns boats that are 30 to 300 feet long, and in price ranges that don't match my criteria.

Re: YachtWorld changes filters again

I have reduced my use of yachtworld 90%. The ads now include TakeOver screens and phony virus cleaners. Bottom of the barrel advertising broker service.

Agree that YW has been getting less and less usable with more and more screen space taken by junk adverts. Wait, that Also sounds like www.cruiserforum.com.... both are becoming unusable.

CF and TF dont allow takeover or phony virus ads.
I once got a phony virus screen on CF and emailed the mods. They said thanks for letting them know and they changed that banner broker immediately.
