Anyone with Experience Shipping to Vessel in Transit?
Does anyone on here have experience with this, in Europe?
I had a lot of parts sent to me when I was on the way to Greenland, to the Faroe Islands, as supplies for a "vessel in transit". I didn't have to pay any VAT nor any customs duty. That was cool.
I have a new mainsail coming which would involve a couple thousand euros worth of VAT if I have to pay it. It's coming from the UK and I'm a UK flagged vessel in Europe, so theoretically, this should be possible.
Anyone have any experience? Tips?

I behold from the beach your crooked inviting fingers,
I believe you refuse to go back without feeling of me;
We must have a turn together . . . . I undress . . . . hurry me out of sight of the land,
Cushion me soft . . . . rock me in billowy drowse,
Dash me with amorous wet . . . . I can repay you."
