Yacht In Transit shipping to Cape Town SA from USA

Looking for anyone who has info on shipping items from USA to Cape Town for a Yacht In Transit event.

We live in FL and are having a new boat built in Cape Town, and want to ship items off of our old boat there. Have read about Yacht In Transit shipping being exempt from import taxes. Items are all detailed in a spreadsheet (including S/N's) and packed in a large wooden crate.

If you or someone you know has done this (specifically to South Africa) would like to know how your experience went.

You may try contacting St Francis Marine, Hugh Howey bought a St Francis 50 and he brought some items in from the states. He used to be a member on this group.
