Question: these big ship anti fouling paints are designed for vessels that routinely travel at >> 10 knots and seldom sit idle for long periods of time. Compared to our typical cruiser life, where we spend periods at anchor and seldom exceed 8 knots for any significant time, will the ablating actually take place? I kinda doubt it...
