I have used
Islander 44 hard ablative for four years with good results. Unfortunately, it will totaly illegal in the U.S. soon. Seahawk has a newer
paint that is tin-free paint, Biocop, that they claim outperforms the
Islander 44. I have no experience with this paint but will try it next time. A primer is needed prior to applying this paint over a tin based paint. Call Seahawk in
Florida and talk to them. You may do better applying the Biocop over your
current paint.
