Google Earth KAP Large Area Hi Res Charts

I have been using a program I found - Terra Incognita https://sourceforge.net/projects/terraincognita2/files/
to download and save KAP charts.
The main advantage is it allows you to make one large chart in hi resolution.
I have made charts 10,000 pixels x 10,000 pixels (about 100 times the size of a
GE2KAP chart)
It is also possible to access other types of chart ie Bing Aerial etc
I still use GE2KAP "Historical Imagery" when the latest image has cloud coverage over the area I want to save

GE2KAP can create charts from SasPlanet which has charts from Bing and Nokia Hybrid which are excellent.

GE2KAP is a great program.
The main difference to Terra Incognita is the ability to create a single large area hi resolution chart faster than a large number of small charts limited to your screen resolution.

I have a new enhancement to GE2KAP that allows you to create large size charts with a small scale. Its actually an enhancement to the existing functions tiling and creating charts from a path or polygon. Up to now these functions produced multiple charts and when quilted together by your navigation program looked liked one chart .This new enhancement will instead give you the option to create just one chart, the quilting will be done by GE2KAP.

If you are interested in testing this version, let me know.

I may be doing something wrong with TeraIncognita but I created a chart of Havana Harbor at 5km level with TeraIncognita and with GE2KAP using its new quilting function. Attached are the results.

To use Terra Incognita
Go to Selection - Rectangular Selection
Select the area you want to download
Go to Zoom levels - 100m (the only thing you did wrong)
Go to File- Save map BSB/Kap
Should save.

SteelCat, that is what I did but used 5km which it what I used on GE2KAP so I could compare the two. Will try the 100m and see what I get

You can use any zoom level but obviously the smaller the scale the larger the file size.
