What Anchor is This?

Never seen this before, seems the shank can wobble around.
What is it?
It does not look home made?

Re: What Anchor is This?

Should be inexpensive since its construction is simple.

Re: What Anchor is This?

Seems to me: Like other "pivoting fluke" anchors if the pivoting is defeated by shells, stones, or other debris, then the anchor may not reset if dislodged.

(I have no experience with a Bulwagga anchor)

Re: What Anchor is This?

I used one for many years on a 43 foot trawler, west coast of FL, Keys, and Bahamas. Worked great and never failed us. The group of "modern design" anchors has come along since then and I’d think there are better choices now available.
