I have a 3000D Wallas heater that does not turn on I have power at CB panel no power at control panel any thoughts on this one

Get a multimeter?

Is the circuit shared with anything else?

Bad connection/corroded wire somewhere?

What tests have you run? You seem to be saying that power isn't getting from the circuit breaker to the thermostat. Is that to say the lights aren't coming on when you switch on the heat or the fan or have you put a meter at the thermostat and seen that power isn't making it there?

I done no trouble shooting yet I guess start with the thermostat not sure which pins to test diagram states that there is a 4 amp fuse not sure where that would be? No lights coming on at the control pannel

On my 40D the power goes to the furnace and the module in the furnace feeds the thermostat. The fuse is between the battery and the furnace. Check that power is getting to the furnace. I would expect the fuse to be installed very close to where the furnace is. If you have power at the furnace make sure the cable that goes to the thermostat is plugged in. On mine it's an RJ-45 or something like it - plugs in like a phone. If it's plugged in I'd remove the thermostat and make sure the cable is plugged in at the other end. I'm presuming the 3000 is similiar.

I have a 3000DX. There should be a fuse inline with the power going to the furnace. There is also a removable/replaceable blade style fuse located on the main circuit board. The cable from the heater control is terminated in a DB9 connector like a serial connector on a PC or laptop. As Colin mentioned, make sure the heater control is plugged in. The heater control plugs into the main circuit board. You'll have to remove the bottom panel of the heater to access the main ciruit board. There is a single thumb screw securing the bottom panel of the heater. The thumbscrew is located on the bottom of the heater about in the center. Remove the thumbscrew and the panel should slide down for removal. The main power cable also plugs into the circuit board. Check that connection for corrosion too.

Thanks guys it was 4 amp fuse ATC two glade type got power at control panel
Just need to read manual for how to operate it Colin

They're pretty automated for startup. I am assuming you have the same control as I do on my 3000DX. Turn the "Heat" control knob all the way up (completely clockwise). Press the rocker switch at the top of the switch to start the furnace. A yellow LED should light on the control panel and you should hear the furnace fans start to run. If the yellow LED blinks, supply voltage is low.

After a couple of minutes, the fans in the furnance should speed up. Within 2 minutes after the fan speed increase, the red LED should light indicating the furnance has started. If the furnace fails to light, the red LED will blink indicating the furnance has begun the shut down sequence. After a few minutes the furnace will stop ready for another start sequence.

It may take a couple of start sequences to get the furnace to start because the fuel system my need to prime (the fuel will self prime). Don't shut the furnace off by disconnecting power or damage to the heater will occur. If the furnace doesn't go through the startup sequence above the circuit board is probably defective.

To shut down the heater, move the rocker switch to the center (off) position. The heater will go through a shut down sequence and cool down. The red LED will blink during the shut down sequence.
