Need help

Have a leak in my dinghy and it's coming from the drain plug. Its tight and still leaks. Have to pump it out about once a day. Any ideas on a quick fix? Thank you.

Re: Need help

Try taking it out (it unscrews, there is a useful tool to help do that) and clean the gasket and apply a bit of lube. At least that did it for me!

Plumber's tape on the threads? (But re-vamping the gasket & greasing threads sounds good too.)

Re: Need help

Quite often the little flapper valves get tired and quit working. Replace.

Sometimes you get biofouling where the plug goes into the socket. Clean hole, and plug, lubricate with silicone grease.

Cry wolf much?

Pull the dinghy out of the water. Problem solved.
