Profurl in boom roller mainsail

Have bought a boat with Profurl in boom mainsail. Need to put it together previous person took sail off boom for mending, any tips or tricks would be welcome.

You have the little two inch or so rod with the ear?
I have one and can do it, it’s not hard, but I wont try to tell you as I have only actually assisted in it, and I’m sure I would leave out essential info.
I’d say call the Mack Sail Guys, they are very knowledgeable about it.

Why not talk to Profurl???? They DO write manuals for these things.

Do you have a specific question? or do you want somebody to walk you through all the steps of the process?

Is it possible for you to be less aggressive with your posts, you seem an angry man, wording your posts a little more politely would be of benefit to the forum. You are obviously knowledgeable but unfortunately that comes across second often.

Sounds like someone got up on the wrong side of the settee.....or if you check previous postings, it may be a personality issue.

Leisure furl has a fantastic site with many downloadable pdf’s and a ton of instructions that are very detailed.

I use them all the time. At the end of the inside of your boom is the serial number. Write it down and call text email them.
