Backstay Adjuster question - Merriman

I'd appreciate if someone could identify this Backstay Adjuster. Is it a Merriman? Pic attached. The only logo looks like an anchor with a cross in a circle.

I've replace a leaking seal in the control knob but can't for the life of me figure out how to add oil? Suggestions?

Thanks!

John

Re: Backstay Adjuster question - Merriman

There is still no photo but I can tell you that the Merriman logo was a trident inside a circle. No anchor. They went bust about 30 years ago. The only parts I have ever seen on sale in recent years are for their winches.

Thanks. Yes it appears to be a Merriman. Do you know how oil is added?
