I have an older Navtec IA-17 integrated backstay adjuster. I bought it as a backup for my boat, but never installed it. The previous owner said it works fine and doesn't leak. I paid $450 for it and am looking to get something similar for it. Here is a link to the specs for this unit: http://www.navtec.net/docs/Series7.pdf
I am in Silverdale, and just had my backstay adjuster of a similiar vintage start leaking, and they do not sell parts to repair anymore.
I would be interested in your unit, assuming that it works.
How much are you asking?
you can contact me at rtarper@wavecable.com
Hello. Do you still have this backstay adjuster for sale? Can you tell me aproximately the diameter of the shaft as well as the open and closed lengths? Thank you. The nav-tec link is not working. Could you please call me- my number is 970 596 7277.

Seals may still be available though. If you are not comfortable with hydraulics take it to a hydraulics shop and have them take it apart and see if sealsare available.
