GILow - I love you! Hahaha

Yeah, those pictures look soooo convincing!

I'm actually not certain what the advantage would be. You still need to fill the sink/container with water, put in the dishes and rinse the dishes. It seems that using that doo-dad only would ADD a step.

Re: Ultrasonic washer

Well, it’s not ultrasonic. At least from the “videos”.

Re: Ultrasonic washer

It's not often you see that many meaningless buzz words jumbled together in one location. I'm curious about the suggestion that you send one to your lover. Are they implying a use that my missionary position brain has not quite grasped?

Yeah, a bit of wine makes one gullible I suppose. I was thinking more as a washing machine alternative. Less space, etc. But I suppose not that much better than doing by hand in a bucket

Not so gullible that you clicked on the buy button, so all good.

I don't blame you for finding appeal in the idea that it might solve the washing dilemma. I went to extraordinary lengths myself to solve that one on my boat.

How did you solve it?

I managed to shoe-horn a small front loader into a 42 foot mono by building a black-water holding tank that doubles as the mounting platform for the washing machine. Then I built in 750 litres of fresh water holding tanks to feed the darn thing, along with the existing inverter for power.

Then I was very generously gifted a working water maker, along with buckets of spares, that were all for the same make and model of my existing water maker, so I could feed it some more.

By the end, I felt like I had built the boat around the washing machine, but it was worth it.

I still do the dishes by hand though.
