Spectra MPC 5000

Just picked up a (new to me) Newport 400 MKII and am working through the installation.

The PO told me the control cable for the remote MPC5000 was a regular telephone cable (assuming an RJ45), however, the manual states it is not and must be purchased from Spectra.

I know companies have a tendency to stretch the truth on these things in order to sell you their cables, I just wanted to check out there in CF land to see if it is, or is not, an RJ45 cable.

Any experts put there?
