Sanitation hose

I have not done it, however I know there are fittings for PVC that convert to pipe threads, I would plan on then using the same barb that I use for all hose. That would be where I would start anyway, maybe someone that has done it will correct me.
I think I can do the whole run in PVC, leaving a 1' gap at both ends for hose. I could run PVC all the way into the tank, but maybe having some give on both ends may not be a bad idea?
Course this is all theory but may get a discussion going

I've read that it doesn't, unfortunately.

I plan on running a couple of straight lengths of PVC pipe, then having regular marine waste hose at either end for holding tank, head, and overboard through hull.

I've not come across any pipe to hose fittings. I'm in Europe if that matters. We probably have differing standards here.

What I have seen available is either for vacuum cleaners or garden hoses.

All the PVC piping and fittings in those post are all 1-1/2" inch that we here in the USA can buy at any hardware store.

In Europe you would have to go with metric PVC fittings from your hardware stores. If you can not find the right PVC fittings then get the best marine sewage hose you can find and rap it with the foil tape to extend its life.

Yes in Europe it's 40mm pipe (it can be bought at any hardware store too), but that's not quite what I was asking.

I was asking exactly how/what type of fittings are used to connect the marine hose, to the pipe? That's the only bit i'm stuck on atm. I'm not blessed with hardware stores where I'm currently moored so need to look online.

Re: Sanitation hose

Google 1.5" PVC to pipe thread female adapter, that of course get the oil to where a 1.5" pipe thread barb can be screwed in, just like the barb that I am pretty sure is on your tank now.

Re: Sanitation hose

Something like this:

Normally they are reducers, so not that common to find one that is 40mm to 40mm. None of the ones I can find online are rated for waste. they tend to be for garden use.

I suppose it would then screw into something like this:
