Looking For A Small Pump

I need a small (low, especially) 12v bilge/sump pump to deal with primarily rain water, but possibly sea water as well. An inline pump would work better.

The Teel 1P811 is a bit larger than I'd like at 2"X2"X5.5".

DAYTON Pump, Marine, 12 Vdc - Potable Water Pumps - 1P811|1P811 - Grainger Industrial Supply

I also found this:

Amazon.com: 3.8L 12V Mini DC submersible Water Oil Pump for CPU Cooling Small Pond or HHO System: Sports & Outdoors

Size would work, but not really made for the marine environment.

Anybody know of something like this, but more robust?

I have not used one personally, but the Whale Supersub has been recommended to me by a few people.

Re: Looking For A Small Pump

why submersible?

How about a jabsco diaphram pump.

Re: Looking For A Small Pump

Both of those are much too big, but thanks.

The pumps I'm looking at are inline, which would make for a better installation

Re: Looking For A Small Pump

What are you trying to remove rain water from? The jabsco is our primary bilge pump. Mounted up high in the cockpit locker and plumbed inline to a hose to pull nuisance water from the bilge.

This would be for a outboard boat.

I will endorse it. I use the 600 model in my shallow bilged '70s racer. Does the trick.

There is also a whale inline pump with the strainer and sensor in the bilge, while the pump is mounted elsewhere.
