Isotemp hot water mixing valve

Does anybody have a schematic of the internal part and information on how to mount the components inside the mixing valve?

I have been unscrewing the black knob and all the parts jumped out because of the remaining pressure.

There is a ceramic plunger I do not know which side to put in back.

Also, most of those thermostatic valves seems to have some springs, but I could not find any on mine.

Finally, the temperature control knob can be adjusted quit a lot up and down. Is there any information about this somewhere ?

Google did not help much so far.
