Holding Tank Location

I have a strange question. I've got an Alberg 35, and for the life of me, I can't find my holding tank. My boat is currently equiped with a composting head, but I'd like to replace it with a Jabsco manual head. The only thing is, I don't know where, or even if my boat has a holding tank. I've opened the waste pump out cover, and, well to be honest, it smells like there is still a holding tank installed. I just don't have a clue as to where it is. My boat is equiped with two 35 gallon water tanks, so I don't know if the head was removed and additional water tanks installed. Any help would be great. Even if someone could just tell me where to look. Thanks!

Re: Holding Tank Location

Judging by the years of production, there was likely no holding tank installed in a factory standard location, nobody had holding tanks then. That means it was wherever a previous owner had installed it.

I was going to say that 70 gallons of water sounded high, but this review:
The Alberg 35 and the Alberg 37 | Cruising World
says the boat came with 60 gallons of fresh water. So I'd guess the water tanks are original.

As the previous poster said, is there a hose connected to the pumpout to follow?

John, posting even though I know nothing about Alberg 35s.

Ok thanks. It looks like there is still a hose atatched, I'm just going to have to hunt it down. Thanks!
