G'day Richard,

From your post one gathers that you are very familiar with these control modules! So, have you any advice about eliminating the horrible RFI that they generate? Any useful hints would be greatly appreciated by me and the rest of the cruising fleet, whose HF radio comms are compromised by the dreaded bleeps and blats that come from these units.

Thanks and cheers,

RF noise from Danfoss’s control modules has always been a problem on some boats. Danfoss has advertised solution modifications several times their latest modules designed to reduce RF may or may not correct this problem:
Module 101N221 EMI and 102N220 have a metal shield over part of module and claims to Protect against radiated emissions. These were introduced in 2003.

There are many posts on the web about Danfoss’s RF emissions and many tricks to stop RF from your unit but what works and what does not I cant answer. Start a new thread and you will get more than you ask for in responses.
