Converting to Fresh water heads

I searched through about 10 pages and tried a search to no avail. Im sure this has been discussed here so I would appreciate any links you have on the topic.

Stary Horizons did the conversion to thier Helia 44 and claims it was one of the best upgrades they ever did so I would like to hear others experience with this.

Thanks

I converted mine a few years ago, first went to manual fresh heads, then to a macerating toilet.
We like it, however it will likely at least double your water consumption, so don’t consider it unless you have an ample supply of water.
Do not do a home brew solution, unless your careful you can make everyone sick, one exception is to plumb the toilet into the sink, then put water in the sink and use that to flush the toilet.
Wife likes the push button flush, so far it has been maintenance free.

Re: Converting to Fresh water heads

I had fresh water toilets before I went to Incinolets. Toilets with fresh water smell better, easier to clean, seems to be easier on the gaskets, valves and so on... Plumb them with a siphon break.

Heed a64pilot: on the water use.
