The size and manufacturer of refrigeration unit will help determine what you need to look for. It is also good to know if both compressor and water pump stop at the same time. If the compressor will cycle on and off and water pump still runs would indicate poor condenser water cooling. Solution for poor condenser cooling is killing the sea growth from unit's water loop and its debris strainer.
