Adler Barbour VD-151 Evaporator - Vertical??

Helping a friend Swap out an Adler Barbour Evaporator ......considering the VD-151 with the door.......it's advertised as a Horizontal Evaporator. However, the Distributor says it can be mounted H or V but all the wording in brochure & websites only use the word Horizontal.

Has anyone mounted it vertically?.........if we put it in the same location, it would have to be done vertically.

Boat = Catalina 350

Just to clarify.........realized that really want to mount the Evaporator on it's side - so the food, ice would be accessed for the side of the unit.
Horizontal would have front access & vertical would have top access.......old unit has side access due to space limitations.
Hope that is clear as mud
