Trying to navigate the details of bringing a Foreign Registered / US Owned boat into the US (USVI, Puerto Rico, Florida) and it may be a bit overwhelming...

Can you share your takes and experience on some points:

Does a Non-US registered / US-owned boat need an FCC fixed radio station and restricted operator license to enter the US? or to leave the US?

Other than the form i-1300 and i-418 to enter USVI, any other procedure must be done on the CBP side?

For Border Patrol, what would be required?

As USVI has 0% Sales and Use tax, do you still need to file any documents?

The ship radio station license must be done in the jurisdiction of the ship registry - in your case with your boat registered on the British Ship Registry you must register your ship radio station with OFCOM UK.

The radio operator license can be from any jurisdiction - the boat is not you and you are not the boat.
