Island trader

There is a 1982 Island Trader trawler for sale on eBay. We have looked everywhere on the Internet for info on this boat to no avail. If anyone has any info on its history...designer, which yard built it or any other info it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance....Wally and Darcy

Re: Island trader

Is this it? Several different sized Island Traders on sailboat lists as well. Is the "trawler" a specific model?

geee..someone in leaky teaky yacht club might even know that answer.....try em. they donot bite nor argue point snor bsh. they offer information to those interested in these boats. and specifically these boats. might go look there---see my siggie for the address--says leaky teaky yacht club--merely direct an email to the group and see what happens---should be fairly rapid response time

btw--that is an excellent looking boat-- i know folks who know a lot about these--they happen to have some of them...might wish to ask them about these awesome heavy boats.
