Clipper 23/24

The Clipper Round The World race is about to start. Don't have intimate insight but in a way this is the most interesting race there is:
* 11 boats which are totally equal and have the same equipment
* ordinary people can participate

May the best team win!

Re: Clipper 23/24

I'm surprised they didn't route the race more away from the homicidal orcas.

Re: Clipper 23/24

Would Orcas be a problem for such big and fast boats? But anyway there are lots of boats in the area, don't think one could (or should) shut down all shipping.

Re: Clipper 23/24

The boats are making about 8 knots. The Orcas make more than 30 knots.
