Floating Tim Horton's - Boat Thru'

Tim Hortons opening a ‘boat-thru’, this weekend, on Lake Scugog, Ont.

“... This weekend, attendees of the Lake Scugog Regatta in Caesarea, Ont., will be treated to the first-ever Tim Hortons boat-thru.
Yes, a drive-thru for boats.
On August 5 and 6 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., the floating structure will be open to hungry (and thirsty) boaters, whether you’re in a motorboat, a pedal boat, or a canoe. Customers can place their order without stepping foot on dry land. And anyone who does show up in a watercraft is entitled to sample a free cold drink from Tim Hortons’s new summer beverage lineup, including thirst quenchers such as Strawberry Frozen Lemonade, Vanilla Iced Latte, and Oreo Double Stuf Iced Capp.

The floating Tims will be located next to Beacon Marina—and don’t worry, there will still be shore access for you landlubbers...”

Gotta Give Tim's credit for seeing an opportunity! But that little overhang above the drive through window is going to catch rigging all weekend long.

What could possibly go wrong!!

Love it! But I'm not sure that I want to boat in an area where there is sufficient traffic to warrant such an establishment. We usually don't even have cell service!

Can you just imagine one of those in Squirrel Cove in high summer? It would probably be packed all day

That’s probably where the coffee comes from. They just pump the lake water right up there to a spigot through some sort of hot water heater. Then cream and sugar as desired. Ha ha

For the record I only eat the Timbits. Lol

I love Timmy's we drank gallons of their coffee when living in Canada. I am sure the Timbits is what started the spare tyre I carry today.
Cheers

Re: Floating Tim Horton's - Boat Thru'

needs more fenders.

The average terrestrial Timmie's drivethru lineup would extend halfway across L Scugog.

Ugh. But I'm sure that you're right. The coffee bar at Refuse Cove certainly stays busy. Oops. I meant Refuge Cove - despite the garbage scow out front! 😁

Re: Floating Tim Horton's - Boat Thru'

Q: Why do Canadian cops not need to wear body cameras?
A: Because Tim Horton’s already has cameras.

Q: How much do Canadians like Tim Horton’s?
A1: A latte.
A2: A lot, eh.
