hello. How do I become a "trusted member"?

Hi, I'm trying to send a link to another member via PM, but I get a message that says I'm not allowed to until I'm a "trusted member." Can a mod make me a trusted member? Thanks.

I'm not a mod but I believe you automatically become a trusted member after a few posts (maybe 5 or 10??).

I think a little mordita in the right direction would help.

Greetings from down under.
1. Fill in your profile.
2. Contribute regularly.
3. Contributions that attract 'thank yous' also count I think.
Far too many people just read and never post.
So post your thoughts.
Perhaps start by telling us who you are, where you are based and why you've joined.
(I am posting now so I can see if I'm trusted, and if so then I know that the system doesn't work, as I would certainly never trust me.)
