How can I become a contributing member, or whatever you call this when you pay something to have a little more than a free member?

I do wonder if these Green Stamp Of Approval, where a good idea or a bad idea? Recently some members have been issued by the owner of this forum with an impressive green stamp (Cruising forum supporter) creating a new category of member who’s are given a greater importance because they reflect (support) the view of the owner of what a CF member should be. In clear the owner approve of some and disapprove of other’s. These set this forum in only one direction, one flavour, that only members with a green stamp hold the right answer and CF just become a propaganda tool. It could also be that in the future only green stamped members will provide answers. To muddle further the value of these green stamps, they can be purchased for a modest some, curious. A poll on the subject would have been interesting and my vote would have been: a bad idea. To all

funny, that's not me at all. I've told quite a few to piss off because they had cranialrectosis. So yeah, I don't exactly play well with other all the time.
This would muddy your hypothesis I believe.

The impression I get is that it was to label some as having an amountable experience in boating whether it be commercial, pleasure, sea time or maintenance. The web site World Cruising and Sailing Wiki - Cruising Guides - Sailing Blogs - Boating - Marine News from CruisersWiki was referred to the labeled asking for their experience/contributions.

"cranialrectosis" Nice word. I live with it, fight it, and embrace it. C'est la vie. But it does kick off my a.d.d..
Reminds me of a song;
