pearson 32 comfort

I'm looking at a Pearson 32 for weekends/extended weekends along the coast as I am new to "real" sailing (dinghy sailer in the past). Just wondering how they rate on the comfort factor for that type of usage. What about the future, will I outgrow the boat if I feel the urge to make extended use of it to say the Bahamas for a month or so of living aboard? Any shared experience would be much appredciated. I love the lines of the boat, but am trying not to be seduced by looks alone.

If you buy a boat with a good resale. Then if you decide you have outgrown the boat. It should be easy to get your money back for your future purchase. If you are thinking Pearson Vanguard I will agree with you on her looks. I also understand she sails well. I almost bought one for my first boat. I would have bought it, but my wife thought it was too Spartan.

well, spartan really isn't an issue, just need a place lay down and stretch out a little (i'm only 5'8) and get under a roof. The cockpit and foredeck are why I want to be out on a boat!
