Dunno... I suspect it is just anti-Hunter bashing. Someone happy with their boat, and that is always good to hear.

But I agree, it is hard to fathom the reason for the post.

The title of the thread has nothing to do with the content of the post it seems.

Coops.

Coops.
It was misleading but quite amusing.

I would say equivalent of a Daily Mirror headline to grab attention.

It worked.

Re: I am done with my hunter.....FINISHED

south sounds like a great idea and if all goes well, I would like to be on my way down there in 2015 at this time approx....this would be the goal in the future.

however this sailing season on Lake ontario was not very warm, it was off all summer, it was cold on the bikes as well at the cottage, the water did warm up, but the following weekend the temp had dropped to 72 and for me...thats cold.

I dont have a auto pilot or a dodger, so I hand steered alot in the cold wind and sometimes cold rain,....I was pissed off sometimes, but once I reached our destination (at times was 12 and 14 hours), the people we met and the clubs we visited all made it worth it.

we did go to the thousand islands (singer castle) and even though we had to wear jackets most of the time....its a great place to go with your own boat

Gee I'm never done with my boat, each time I get on her she wants to get out in that big blue wet thing. Maybe next year she'll need the hard stuff. But it's more a fisher than a hunter

Re: I am done with my hunter.....FINISHED

We had some terrible cold days this summer in Ventura, California also. One day it never got over 74 degrees and 2 or 3 days were a little overcast. So we are leaving for Mexico next month. It is crazy how people put up with this kind of weather.
