Re-comissioning a Dikenson antarctic after long storage

We are in Beaufort NC on a new to us boat equiped with a Dickinson Antarctic heater.

I am told it worked well when last used, at least 5 or more years ago.

Anything I shoud do before attempting to start it up ?

Nothing to add about the heater, but it's great to see you're back on the water!
