anyone have first hand comparison of the Nissan Shop Manual vs the one Clymer puts out.

Stopped by a local Nissan shop the guy said the Shop Manual was not very much help for a DIY kind of person.

Your Nissan outboard is likely made by Tohatsu. In case it is a 2-stroke, here is the Service manual:

I agreed tohatsu outboard were discontinued in usa and now are selling as missan , but are absolutely the same . I have one of it
