Nice to hear you are awaiting delivery of your new ST34. My wife and I took delivery of our 34 in late Aug of 2011 and we too will be cruising the Delaware, Chesapeak and Southern Jersey. Made it to Cape May 5 times last season. You will really enjoy to boat and we can't wait to get ours back in the water.

I am currently interested in a 2007 model Moody 49 which is in Poole. Very lightly used but lacks 2 items both of which I want

1) aircon
2) watermaker

It does have a generator

Do you have any idea as to how feasible it would be to install a proper aircon system retroactively ?
My intention would be to base in the Med - Lagos - and use it for occasional 2-3 weeks cruising and more regular weekly use. Do you find your boat well suited for this ? I would like to do the ARC too

PS - the Moody 49 is asking £350k - I would hope to get it for considerably, do you have any views on what a lightly used good condition 2007 model should be worth ? So few of them were built.......

I read in a post that you were in Lagos. I lived there in 91-92 and worked on a Wooden sailboat called tha Bom Dia along with a couple local bars Stones etc..! Is the Bomdia still around taking tourists up the coast?
