- An educator who is usually introduced as "the professor I told you about who lives on a sailboat," Bash is proud to have earned his way through grad school as a scuba instructor. Twice. His hobbies include sea kayaking in the Sea of Cortez, Competitive Poetry, Historical Ecology, and Hanging Around with Smart People. Although he spends a great deal of time teaching abroad, his boat is usually moored in Northern California.
