Newbie Greetings

Hi we have just crossed over from the dark side motor cruising to sail where we purchased 6 weeks ago a Bavaria 37 Cruiser and have it berthed in Marmaris, Turkey. I guess we were so lucky as I did not have a survey done on the craft which was built in 2006 and is in absolute mint condition and everything works on it Planned to do our Day Skippers Course in a few weeks so then I can really begin to understand the differences, the first I have already understood...........free wind as opposed to 400 litres of gas in the most expensive country in Europe for POL....

G'Day Celtic, and welcome to CF.

Do try hard not to sneer at the stinkboats waiting in the queue at the fuel dock as you go by... it takes great strength of character, but I bet you can do it!

Enjoy the wind, mate!

Jim

Re: Newbie Greetings

Welcome to CF. We kept our boat for five years at Netsel marina in Marmaris. There is a nice friendly cruiser community there with morning nets. Say hello to Gwen. Enjoy!
