My fiance and I recently decided to learn how to sail and become liveaboards. Since we made that decision a few months ago, we've had our hands full learning
. We know that it's going to be a lot of work, but we're young and at a good point in our lives to take it on.
We're both new to sailing and the sailing community, and I have no doubt that we'll have many questions along the way. In any case, I figured I'd make an account here, introduce myself, and ask some questions, rather than just lurking around the forums
A bit about me - I'm 28 years old and based out of Seattle
. I've had very little exposure to boats in my life, but have always loved being on and around the water
. Since we made the decision, we've completed the ASA
101 and 103 courses (104 will be this spring!), and are currently searching for a boat. Aside from that, I've mostly been reading about boats and working on downsizing our belongings.
So, all that said, I look forward to meeting folks on here and am eager to learn.
