New to Sailing and the Forums

Hello everyone,

My fiance and I recently decided to learn how to sail and become liveaboards. Since we made that decision a few months ago, we've had our hands full learning. We know that it's going to be a lot of work, but we're young and at a good point in our lives to take it on.

We're both new to sailing and the sailing community, and I have no doubt that we'll have many questions along the way. In any case, I figured I'd make an account here, introduce myself, and ask some questions, rather than just lurking around the forums.

A bit about me - I'm 28 years old and based out of Seattle. I've had very little exposure to boats in my life, but have always loved being on and around the water. Since we made the decision, we've completed the ASA 101 and 103 courses (104 will be this spring!), and are currently searching for a boat. Aside from that, I've mostly been reading about boats and working on downsizing our belongings.

So, all that said, I look forward to meeting folks on here and am eager to learn.
