My name is Roy Greenwald. My wife, Gail, and I are both 57 and have been sailing together for 35 years. We have lots of offshore experience, races, and an Atlantic passage under our belts, but hope to start living the dream this year. The plan is to head from Massachusetts to Panama in November and through the Canal next year. With elderly parents a hiccup is possible, but we'll see. At this point, life is good.

Welcome Roy and Gail, We did spend a year off from cruising to remain at the dock and deal with elderly parental care. I know this is a relatively short time and a "hiccup" can become much more. 'hope you manage to keep more than one good option! Take care and joy, Aythya crew
