I think I've got it...
A Tornado has a telltale sign,known as a wall cloud.
It can produce one of the gnarliest things known to nature, and one hell of a gnarly ride.

(I guess I ended up going for a somewhat cute name after all, yet another surprise, but one that feels right)

Keeping with the fleet as well, kind of double duty name if you will.

Yes, S/V is for sailing vessel, F/V is fishing vessel, etc. It helps to identify the type of boat you have when you use the radio.
