Hi, everyone! My fiance, Punx, and I just bought our FIRST boat this weekend - a 1976 Trojan F36 Tri-Cabin, and she's beautiful! We plan to rent out (and eventually sell) our house and spend the winter on the water in Lake St. Clair.
However, we have zero boating experience, and I know we'll have oodles of questions about boat care and retrofitting. Thanks for running such an informative forum, and I know you'll be seeing a LOT of posts from us! (Step One: Getting Internet at the dock!)

My dad had a Trojan 27-30 ( can't remember ), beautiful old wooden Single engine. Anyways, at 13 years old I got mad at my parents and ran away, I took the Trojan (!). Two whole days before they figured out what I had done. Looking back, it's amazing they didn't drown me on the spot.
