Greetings all

hi all,
I'm just peeking my head in to say hi and tell you all a little about me.

I'm 24 years old, married to a wonderful lady. we've traveled quite a bit, both when i was in the army and after i got out. I am retired due to medical reasons. i am originally from WI and have lived in quite a few places when i was in the service such as NC, GA, and MO. after i retired my wife and i moved to Fort Lauderdale FL and lived there until this past February.
We made the mistake of moving back to Wisconsin to be close to family. I am currently in school for mechanical engineering and am interested in expanding into naval architecture.
We are moving back to FL next summer, I am planning on going to a sailing school over the summer as i have always been fascinated by sailing vessels and wish to spend a good amount of time on the ocean. my wife was in the navy and messes being out to sea and visiting foreign ports.

we're looking forward to getting to know some of the many cruisers out there and we are always interested in any thoughts or ideas for people who are new to sailing and the cruising lifestyle.

John and Elizabeth
currently residing in Neenah, WI

I would love to go to Wisconsin because I loved the laura ingles wolder books when I was a kid. Love Florida, especially Key West that place is cool! Love the Maidens balconies on the roof tops.

Welcome.

It takes about six months to "read backwards" and catch up.
