Hi All
Ive often read stuff on this site. Forever grateful for the useful info it shares. I am new to owning a yacht as of April 2015. Purchased a slightly neglected but well found Cavalier 32. PO was not a sailor at least I don't think so. So I decided to fix a few issues and finished up with a major refit of mast, stays halyards and mast sheaves electrics, wind instrument, paint etc. Neglected skin fittings were all tidied up and valves serviced. Shakedown coastal trip for me on own boat Lake Macquarie to Broken Bay, Sydney Harbor and back during New Year period was excellent. Loved the little lady (pic captured here on Cowan Ck mid voyage) and the way she performs. Hope to do more coastal trip, east coast of Aus for now.

Welcome to CF dwenhv !

Oh... and your thread title is a tad cryptic being the same as your screen name... Let's change it to something else, let me know how you want it to read...

Re: dwenhv

Hey good sir
I've been busy fixing and sailing that beaut boat. But I'm back, hopefully can help out a fellow Cav 32 owner I just replied to here. Sure sorry about my dumb thread title. If i knew how Id change it to something like "Newbie with Cav 32". I know the boat a whole lot better now, she is lighter, dryer and faster , 1st Spinnaker run recently went really well whoohoo! and its still in one piece
