Completely New and I Need YOUR Help

Hello. So I'm very new at all this. I wanted to know if I could get some information on sailing with a group of people who are traveling through the BVI or anywhere else that is exotic. It's just myself. I'm 31 years old and a female. I'm a little apprehensive since I've never done this before and I'm alone. Please help! THANK YOU THANK YOU

King charters do that sort of thing where they rent out single cabins on charter yachts in different (exotic!) locations world wide.

Sometimes they work a flotilla of a few boats with a host etc. Often advertise in Cruising World Magazine.

http://sailingcharters.com/

and their current Crusing World stuff is on their site at King Yacht Charters

I do believe she might get lucky and find willing captains, right here on this very forum, who won't charge her a penny.

That's just the kind of guys we are....

Might have been the OP's chosen name "Loveishere" that threw some of us in the wrong direction.

Welcome to the forum, hope you will find the help you are looking for so you can build the confidence needed for your next step. Reading is a great way to start. A good start would be Suzanne Giesemann's "It's Your Boat Too". But there are many many others.
Good luck and have fun.

Let's see: an all-alone 31 year old female calling herself "Love is Here" who claims never to have "done this before" wants to go "anywhere exotic."

Now why would we think this is a troll?

Scary? Us? Nah..... however from the looks of things... old...crusty...and slightly salty pretty much covers most of us. But hey.... I take issue with the use of the 'hermit' card...... we're just relationship challenged. Except for Markj, but then again, we all know he's a pirate.

Man most of you are really going wild with my username and my intentions of being on this forum. Love is here is something I choose because it's what I write to all my friends when I'm emailing them. That OR All there is...is LOVE. It was just easy to remember and came naturally when picking a username.

And I'm happily married. I'm just going to be traveling alone and I wanted to travel safely, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks
