Another Newbie with First Boat

Evening sailors,

I would like to introduce myself, I am very new to this. I have just purchased my first boat, a Colvic Victor 34, fin keel, ketch rig, 1980.

It is still in Swansea, I live just outside Chelmsford, Essex. I am hoping to sail it round to Essex next week. She will be moored in Tollesbury Marina.

I fear I may have many stupid questions, I will ask anyway, hope you don't mind.

Look forward to the discussions.

Ian

Thanks for the welcome, it is pretty much arranged now. I have hired a skipper and me and my boy (Fergus) are going to get the boat Saturday morning. We will sail from Swansea to Tollesbury Marina.

Probably a five day trip, really looking forward to it. Weather is to be beautiful and the skipper sounds like a gent.

I'm like an eight year old on christmas morning.

Thanks again.

Re: Another Newbie with First Boat

Hi Ian Welcome!

Came up the East coast back to the Tyne last weekend with a nice SW10, cracking sail back and even managed to not spill me coffee or get wet!
Have a safe trip
