Ah, David_Old_Jersey, you're a case in point. Your ratio comes out to an almost perfect 41.22.

Now if only you could work out that goat business.

Congressman from Georiga says too many many Marines on Gaum will cause the island to tip over. So if you were planning on visiting and anchoring be sure to take into consideration which side of the island to be on for when it flips over.

Everyone lighten up. There was way too much attack position on a posting between my last post and this one!

Janet's new dink has no outboard and no place for oarlocks ... which tells us she is a real sailor and she does need the rudder either. But I do like the dress and the legs.

Only Jordan Series for the drift - I make the Jordan by mixing Bailey's and Campari 65:35.

Don, Speaking from personal experience, when E-mail came to be, I found out that I do not know how to write!

I would write something as I would normally say it, then read it back and say oww that's rude!
Somehow inflection and facial expression have saved me from a lifetime of beatings.

Conversing in print is hard and doubly hard for those of us who can't write!

Has anyone been in a conversation between a group of cruisers that didn't drift? Such is human nature. May it always be so.

Well, I see the drift as the natural state of things. Otherwise there would be some technical, but nil social, progress.

Imagine we discuss something like sail trim and once all relevant askers are sent to relevant older threads - what do we have left to discuss? Nothing!

Hence the drift.

Avoid stagnant waters!
