That Anjouteau Oceanis 50 is very ergonomical for living. No wierdo curves in it to bump your knees or head.

I suppose you're right, at least SOME of the time. Still, I think "boom" is mostly a guy sound.

Anjou, The boat looks fantastic! Last update I saw was August, any more news? Tried to find where I read about her design but couldn't, do you have a picture of the finished work? when is the Christening party? I need a heads up so I can start planning the puddle jump ( just like an American to invite herself!).

We are all going to move into the Anjouteau as it looks like there is enough room to have a loft party!

Yes, theres nothing worse than a sloping floor which is guaranteed to send you falling into the low slung gunwhale, and as you stand upright to regain ones composure, ya bangs ya head.
I modified the hull sides to be true plumb and not tapering out, to max the space and make it easier to make and fit lockers etc

As I looked at the stern it occurred to me that it closely resembled a 5th wheel trailer. So, if one would weld in a king pin, you could pull your truck under it, hook up and with some dollies on the bow, be good to go over land as well as sea! Not a bad idea that.

Regards,

Thomas

Whilst the most antagonistic thread on CF is the on going feud between the hulls, on a well known canal boat forum, the troublesome thread is between pump outs and cassettes, and in the absence of active moderation, the shyte realy hits the fan
