Hi all,

After having yet another volunteer crew flake out on me, I made the gulf stream crossing alone. No wind so just motoring. Uneventful, almost calm. Now I'm here in Bimini. I feel even more that I can trust my judgement as to weather windows.

I'm even more eager to find a mate so we could be in it together and depend on each other. Though, given Zee's experience, and the many guys here not making any moves, I despair!

I'll keep plugging away, island by island. Hope you all make it out here soon!

Happy holidays,
Margo

It's now Christmas here in paradise, so Merry Christmas to all of you. Margo, I feel your pain, single handing is a challenge but can be fun. After all, Bernard M. did most of his sailing that way and he's my hero! Just double up on the tether and keep a boarding ladder down if ya' can.

Zee isn't it about time you get out from under the bridge? I'm surprised the little Monkey hasn't scooted down there to crew for ya'. Seems like a match made in heaven to me.

Little Monkey, the Bay area's a drag this time of year, and it's COLD. Head south man! I happen to know where you can get yourself a ride all the way to Mazatlan anyway, maybe further if you're a good mate!

As for me...I've come to love this place and can't wait to bring the boat here. The waters are crystal clear and calm, cruising grounds untouched for the most part, diving spectacular. What's not to like? I went to see the new Narnia movie yesterday. The ticket set me back $1.86 two large drinks and a bucket of popcorn another $1.56!!! What's not to like about this place?

Regards,

Thomas
