Nobody appropriated anything. Lady Gaga wrote it intending it to be a gay rights song. She has said so herself. I'm just telling like it is.

"Unsubscribe" = I'm making a dick of myself by publicly stating that:

a. I don't intend to read any more posts in this thread, and

b. I don't understand what "thread subscription" is about or how to change options in my forum profile- and as a result I get far to many emails every day notifying me about new posts in every thread I have ever posted in.

At least it not at a BLM protest burning down buildings or throwing rocks at cops. Hey...we are doing pretty good here when you consider the alternatives...

Ha, and also commonly used by a certain poster as a kind of childish "I am not playing with you because you are all stupid and don't completely agree with me" statement...

" ... Nobody appropriated anything. Lady Gaga wrote it intending it to be a gay rights song. She has said so herself. I'm just telling like it is. ..."

Yep.

That was her marketing intention but it did not really work for her at all, outside of her home country. Too many references to God. This may work in deeply religious countries but fails abominably where people come from more diverse backgrounds.

Similar story to Jackson's 'Black or White' that was meant to, but never became, an anthem of the multi culti.

An anthem? Here we go. I dedicate this one to all USCG, SAR, AIS and PDF activists:

WTF?

Where do you come up with this BS?

Go back and work on your boat.

I'm sailing North tomorrow for a few days so it's all good. No internet, ancient instruments, old CQR Anchor on the bow (plus a bruce with extra chain and rode and 4 others) polyester lifelines, 42 year old boat, 5 hp outboard, lots of books, ............I might even consider how I will reattach a broken stanchion and base I removed a few months back. Wind predicted to be SW to 15 knots...........

No cruising experience or miles.........and only limited posts on CF. I reckon it's your fault then if i have trouble?

Maybe you do need some solitude away from the internet with some boat projects....

Today's news and happenings may just be too much to take for some, other know how to poke fun and laugh at them. You obviously haven't been following what's happening on collage campuses these days...it even worse than I described.

Maybe, I've been busy at work making sure the pilots can train. And the NFO's. Flight simulator downtime is a chargeable offense financially for the company .........

He played the didgeridoo superlativly, great dancer, actor.
