Smoking too much causes paranoia! If you don't actually get thrown in prison, you'll worry about it incessantly. So it's not worth it either way.

And what's the deal with RabidRabbit lumping anti-pot smokers with global warming denialists? I'm pro legalization, but think AGW IS a hoax. So what 'group' am I in?

Re: Getting stoned with savages

well that didnt take long. All i said was some people dont care and others are wicked uptight about it. It seems to get some people all worked up. Just because people choose to become all worked up, doesnt mean they happen to be right. You need to respect our choices and do so in a non rude way rather than calling people stupid. Did anyone here call you names?

Left wing humor at the expense of rightwings. sorry. Pot line seems to commonly be drawn down the Repub/Dem split as with many things. like tennessee and evolution. I bet there not for med mari.

If your choice affects my freedom, I will take a very aggressive, pro-active “zero tolerance” approach to protecting myself.

I could even cite personal experiences of being lumped in with cruising stoners at an anchorage, when the law comes calling. But that is normally wasted on a person who prefers a chemical reality.

Funny how these cool cats eventually try to deflect responsibility for their illegal actions by trying to generalize it as socially acceptable amongst the sailing community….. Both stupid and cowardly!

Re: Getting stoned with savages

I'm not sure it has anything to do with the sailing community, I think its accepted everywhere, and CF is part of everywhere so some people here accept it. Hey everyones got there own opinions. What bothers me, Correct me if I'm wrong, is that you seem pretty sure that your right and then by default we're wrong? There are more and more states with medical mari so maybe your the one with the radial views.

And please don't call anyone stoners.

Specially people you don't know.

Re: Getting stoned with savages

Is there a difference between one who calls it getting stoned and a stoner? I'm serious. What should it be called or they be called? Is there a nice term?

Re: Getting stoned with savages

Exactly Dell….. Living in a tourist area of the Philippines, I asked my electrical contractor about the murder of a tourist who was found shot under a bridge. (The contractor was also a municipal councilor)

He just winked and said… “we warned him not to do drugs with our kids”…

Simple and direct justice that sends a strong message to visitors
